SRINAGAR, NOV 11 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir liberation front chairman Yasin Malik today evening reached Tral and visited Gh. Nabi Ganie’s house which was destroyed during Gunbattle between militant and security forces yesterday at Dar Ganie Gund village of Aripal Tral in which one JeM Militant was killed.
Malik also interacted with the family members and visualise the damage of cowshed and house of Gh Nabi besides complete damage to cowshed and windows, roof of the house, “a cow and her calf were burnt alive inside, during the gunfight.”
The house owner namely Gh Nabi Ganie, son of Gh Ahmad Ganie, is a painter by profession, who has a father, wife, and two kids in his family.
Locals present there told that, family is “very poor” and had lost a son, nine years back in 2009, who was a militant commander, and was killed in an encounter with forces at Sofigund village, just one kilometer from their village.
They said that since then GH Nabi is the only bread owner for his family, “who is working hard on daily basis to feed his family”. (PTK)
