Srinagar, Nov 10 (PTK): A driver of a vehicle (truck) was killed in a mishap at batalbalian area of udhampur along Srg-Jummu National Highway on Friday-Saturday intervening night .
A police officer from PS Udhampur jammu told Press Trust of Kashmir over phone that a driver of vehicle (Truck) bearing registration number JK 09-4631 died when another truck bearing registration number JK02AV-2974 hit it on back side resulting in on spot death of driver who was beneath to his own vehicle checking and screwing his stopped vehicle at Batalbalian Udhampur.
“the deceased was identified as Mohammad Altaf Magray resident of Dorusa,village of Lolab area of Kupwara district” he said
“Police has registered a case in police station Udhampur and further investigations were taken up in this regard,” the officer said adding that they had kept body in DH Udhampur’s mortuary as the relatives of deceased are on way from Kupwara to receive body.(PTK)
