SRINAGAR, (PTK): 42RR of Yangvani camp, 180 BN CRPF and SOG of J&K police Aripal today cordoned off Dar Gani Gund village of Tral at around 09:00 AM and started search operation.
The Forces had received inputs about the presence of some militants in the village.

As per reports 2 to 3 militants are believed to be trapped in a house of Ghulam Nabi Ganie near Govt middle school Dar Ganie Gund.
As the forces were zeroing in on a particular house, the hiding militants fired on them leading to an encounter.
Heavy firing is going on.
