People are capable to decide their future: JD(U)
SRINAGAR, Oct 30: The leadership of Janta Dal (United) JD(U) on Tuesday condemned the statement of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for playing with sentiments and aspirations of people of J&K
by giving irresponsible remarks that indicates that Hindus and other minorities living in the state are not safe in the state under the leaderships of Muslim Chief Minsters.
JDU State President G M Shaheen stated this at an impressive function organised at party headquarters Rajbagh Srinagar where Ittihad Party was merged with Janta Dal United party fold in presence of other senior party leaders and members.
Shaheen while addressing the gathering said that the remarks of UP Chief Minister Yogi indicates that BJP is planning for creation the post of next Hindu CM in J&K. “This also seems that BJP is going to add more fuel on the wounds of people of Kashmir Valley who are facing bloodshed like situations. Such kind of remarks will not lead to peace in the Valley. This will disturb the present unrest situation in Valley ahead of Panchyat elections.”
He furthr asked the UP Chief Minister to concentrate on your state not to indulge in the affairs of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State who still deprived of their fundamental rights since independence.
He added that J&K people are well educated and aware about their wisdom and are capable to decide and elect the next Chief Minister of the state of their own choice and willingness.
Meanwhile, Shaheen and state youth wing president Raja Wasim welcomed Mudasir Tantray president of J&K Itthad Party who has merged with JDU j&K along with other members. They added that this merger will not only strengthen the JDU party but also to aware the people about the policies and programs of the party led by National President.
