Whosoever lives in Kashmir is safe: Aiyar over Yogi’s statement

SRINAGR, OCT 30 (PTK): Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar hit out at UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the statement in which Yogi said that “As long as there was a Hindu ruler in Jammu and Kashmir, both Hindus and Sikhs were living safely”. Mani Shankar while speaking to News agency Press Trust of Kashmir said “whosoever lives in Kashmir either they are Muslims, Hindus or Sikh they are safe in Kashmir.

He added that “by such allegation I don’t think somebody can achieve anything”. When asked about the Statement of Governor over dialogues with Hurriyat Aiyar said “I am don’t agree with the statement of Governor Satya Pal Malik in which he said “No talks with Hurriyat unless they keep Pakistan aside”.

“A right that Kashmiris have for the last so many years should remain with them so that they do not feel threatened”, he said. He added “Delhi should talk with Srinagar as well as with Islamabad only after that they can find solution of Kashmir problem”.  He said, “Everyone from Kashmir should be included in all the dialogues. Dialogues should be held with everyone”.

He added until their will be no talk between Delhi and Srinagar, Delhi and Islamabad incident like Kulgam will happen. “There is only one solution to solve Kashmir problem, dialogues should be held with everyone”.  He added, “J&K assembly resolution in which maintains that Delhi should resume talks with Pakistan so that they can’t find solution of the problem”.
