SRINAGAR, (PTK): Massive clashes broke out in Nowgam area on the outskirts of Srinagar following the killing of two militants in an overnight gunfight with the government forces on Wednesday.

According to reports groups of youth took to streets in Sathu Kothair Bagh as soon as the news of killing of two militants spread in the area.
He said the youth pelted the forces deployed in the area with stones. The forces, he said, responded by firing tear gas, triggering clashes. (PTK)
