SRINAGAR, OCT 22 (PTK): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the new cycle of killings of Kashmiris in Kashmir by the security forces.
The PM’s statement was in response to the violence across the occupied territory that left at least 7 civilians killed on Sunday, when an explosion detonated in a crowd protesting against the Indian rule.
“It is time India realised it must move to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN SC resolutions & the wishes of the Kashmiri people,” the PM added. Pakistani Minister of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur, and Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condemned killings of nine Kashmiri youth by Indian troops in fresh act off “state terrorism” in Kulgam district of Kashmir.
In a statement, Minister drawn the attention of world community towards the “worst atrocities of Indian security forces” on innocent Kashmiris,” Radio Pakistan reported. He said the world conscience should raise its voice on this “barbaric treatment”.
The Minister said Pakistan will continue to expose the true face of India on all international forums. Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also “strongly condemned brutal killings of innocent Kashmiris” at the hands of “Indian security forces” in Kalgam in Kashmir.
In a statement, the PPP Chairman said that the international community was maintaining silence while Kashmiris are being “massacred ruthlessly by Modi government”. Zardari further said that “gross violations of human rights and atrocities against the Kashmiri people in Indian-held Kashmir” should be stopped through exerting diplomatic pressure by the world bodies.
He pledged that PPP would continue to raise the voice for people of Kashmir and support them morally and diplomatically at national as well as international level. Pakistani Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also strongly condemned the fresh wave of Indian brutalities against innocent people in Kashmir.
In a statement, he has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Kashmiri people and extended his sympathy and condolence to their bereaved families. He said that the gunfire and oppression cannot surpass the self-determination movement of Kashmiri people. He said that Kashmir dispute should be resolved in the light of UN resolutions in order to bring long-lasting peace in the region. (PTK)
