Srinagar, October 16: Armed Police Headquarters J&K today issued promotion orders of 172 officers/ officials of J&K Armed Police in different ranks after the Departmental Promotion Committee headed by ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary-IPS found them eligible for their next promotions.

As per orders issued by ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary-IPS, 31 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) have been brought on list “E” and promoted to the rank Sub-Inspectors (SIs), 17 Head Constables have been brought on list “D” and promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs). Similarly, 67 Sg.Constables have been brought on list “C” and promoted to the rank of Head Constables and 57 Constables have been brought on list “A” and promoted to the rank of Sg. Constables.
ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary-IPS and his Staff Officer Mehmood Ahmed SSP extended their warm greetings to the newly promoted SIs, ASIs, HCs, Sg.Constables and their families. They expressed hope that the promoted officers/ officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their legitimate duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service
