BrahMos engineer arrested for passing missile info to Pakistan’s ISI

Delhi: The Anti-Terrorism Squads (ATS) of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a BrahMos engineer on charges of supplying critical information to Pakistan’s spy agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)

Nishant Agarwal, working at the BrahMos Missile Research Centre for four years, was picked up by the joint team of U.P and Maharasthra ATS from his rented house in Ujjwal Nagar locality in Nagpur on Monday, Times of India reported today.

He was later arrested under the Official Secrets Act.

Quoting ATS sources, the report says that Agarwal used a ‘coded game’ to send vital information to ISI agents in Pakistan.

The report adds that Agarwal’s colleagues, including a woman from Kanpur are also under scanner for their suspected roles. (PTK)
