SRINAGAR, 08 Oct (PTK): A presiding officer of a Polling station was suspended on Monday for dereliction of duty during polling.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary said that the presiding officer of Polling station stationed at Higher Secondary School Kaloosa was suspended on Monday for allowing a women to accompany a female voter of Kaloosa upto voting compartment in Kaloosa area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district during the ongoing Municipal elections.
He said that the presiding officer was suspended for violating the norms. (PTK)
