SRINAGAR, (PTK): A high level meeting of DCC Kupwara headed by Haji Farooq Mir Dist President Congress committee Kupwara held at TRC Kupwara. Dr Shakeel Ahmad Hon’ble MLA Bihar, Secretary AICC, i/c J&K was chief guest. Abdul Gani Khan senior Congress Leader and former DCC President Srinagar guest of honour.
All PCC Member, DCC office bearers, Block Presidents and Contesting candidates of MC Kupwara were present in the meeting. Among other who spoke in the meeting Adv Yassan Bhat i/c Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone Gen sec DCC Kupwara, Raja DP Mahila Kupwara, Syed Ashraf Indrabi ,Gh Hassan Doyee, Gh Ahmad Hajam and M S kataria, Rafiq Ahmad Dar, Inshada Bagem, Murtaza Maqbool Wani BP Qaziabad, Mushtaq Ahmad Malik Town President Kupwara, Abdul Ahad Shah. Huge gathering of senior workers attended the meeting.
Haji Farooq Mir appealed people of Kupwara to vote for INC candidates and urged people to stop criminal forces like BJP, PDP and alliance partner of BJP. Dr Shakeel addressed workers to strengthen the congress party from grass root level in Dist Kupwara, Abdul Gani Khan also addressed the gathering. (PTK)
