SRINAGAR, OCT 02 (PTK): PHE daily wagers, ITI workers, casual labourers and Land donors on Tuesday along with their children assembled at Pratap Park here to protest against the government for failing to release their wages from past 21 months.

“Since almost two years our wages are not being paid to us. How are we going to feed our families,” a protesting employee said.
He said that government seems to have forgotten that ‘humans work in these departments’. “Government should be ashamed that our children are demanding what is due to their parents,” a PHE daily wager said adding that they have gone bankrupt now and people have stopped letting them borrow household items.
