SRINAGAR, SEP 27 (PTK): Hurriyat Conference (M) has strongly denounced a fresh wave of killings, thrashing of youth and arrest spree under the garb of CASO across Kashmir, terming it as the worst form of state terrorism stating for just enacting the drama of elections, genocide of youth is being carried out while as jails are being filled with the resistance leaders.
In a statement to PTK, Hurriyat (M) termed the killing of Muhammad Saleem Malik who was killed in a target firing at his home as worst form of genocide and paid tributes to Malik and three other armed youth martyred in two separate encounters in Chadoora, Budgam and Dooru Islamabad, stating that the blood spilled by the martyrs won’t go waste. The Hurriyat also strongly condemned the use of force on the funeral procession of slain Saleem.
Meanwhile, on the directions of APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior Hurriyat leader Engineer Hilal Ahmed War, visited Super Specialty Hospital, Shireenbagh to inquire about the health of Manzoor Ahmed Dar of Tral, who was recently seriously injured in force’s action. The Hurriyat also termed the arrest of its leader Mukhtar Ahmed Waza and lodging him in police station Islamabad yet again as sheer vendetta. (PTK)
