Srinagar, (PTK): Two militants have been killed in Tujjar area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district during an encounter with government forces on Tuesday, army said.
They said that search operation was still going on in the area.
“Two militants have been killed in Tujjar and the operation continues,” army PRO, Col Rajesh Kalia told Kashmir Reader.

Sources said that identity of the slain militants was being ascertained.
Earlier a gunfight broke out between militants and forces after a joint team of army, SOG and CRPF personnel laid a siege around Nowpora area of Tujjar in Sopore late last night.
The gunfight however started today morning after hiding militants opened fire on the search party. (PTK)
