SRINAGAR, SEP 21 (PTK): Senior Congress leader G N Monga said Congress will participate in the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections. However he added that the situation is also bad.
“Government is responsible for the situation”, Monga told PTK. Monga said that, “Congress party had decided to take part in the polls to “keep the BJP and RSS away”.
He added, “We can’t allow RSS and BJP to take control in Kashmir which is the reason congress take part in election”. He said that government even not checked the ground reality of Kashmir before announcing polls so let them face it.
He said that with each passing day, the atmosphere is turning scary. “The incidents of violence are continuing, which is really a matter of concern for us”, he said. (PTK)
