People of Aripal Tral demands power receiving station

Tral, Sep 20 (PTK):As  the authority is claiming that 90% of villages in Kashmir valley will be electrified upto the ending of this year, but Still Aripal Tehsil of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has no power recieving  station. The residents of Aripal tehsil of Tral still waiting for power recieving station.
Chief engineer projects Mr. Naseer Ahmad , when contacted said, “the peoject was  alloted to tata m/s projects and we are in contact with them to initiate the work as soon as possible. 
“The residents of different villages of Aripal tehsil worry  against authorities for failing to provide power receiving station despite assuring the same from last five years. We were assured five years ago that power recieving station will be installed in Aripal tehsil but the promise not fullfilled yet,” locals Said.
 “Aripal tehsil has 25 villages including Aripal, Dar Ganie Gund, jawaharpora lam, deodar pora guttangoo, zesibal, soinar, satoora, nargistan, hajin, zoastan, guttroo, laribal, dharamgund, wagad, gadpora, syedabad pastuna, seer jageer, dembal, Gulshanpora, handoora, lorow jageer, lorgam and heaven yangvani.” “The residents of these villages told PTK correspondent that they are are suffering power crisis since from last couple of years, especially during winter season.”
“They said despite repeated requests, authorities are turning off their eyes and is paying deaf ear to our plight.” “We even proposed to provide our land for the installation of power station but no concrete step was taken yet. We went to MLA of our constituency Mushtaq Ahmad shah many times and finally ice melts and  he told that DPR is already made for the receiving stations and we assure that under ‘Deen Dayal’ scheme,  receiving station will be given to Aripal, but years on no initiation yet,” locals said.
