Missing minor boy traced in Kupwara after seven days: Police

Kupwara,19 Sep (PTK): A twelve year old boy Faisal Nazir Chopan son of Nazir of Chopan, who went missing from Shaloora area of Kralpora Kupwara, was traced in the bus stand Kupwara district of north Kashmir and reunited with his family, police said today.

Acting on information that a boy was roaming in kupwara Market, female student identified him at Bus stand kupwara and she immediately informed a police party which was deployed at the bus stand brought him safely to Police Station kralpora wednesday evening, senior police official from PS kralpora said over phone.

On questioning, he disclosed that “after recieving an amount for school fee i went to kupwara where from he headed towards srinagar after spending two days there he returned back to kupwara”, the official said adding the missing boy was studying at AG’s public school shaloora kralpora in 5th class .

Police contacted his family members and called them at Police Station kralpora.

After proper identification and verification, the missing boy was handed over to his family, police said.

Meanwhile The family of missing boy complimented the police for its arduous efforts. (PTK)
