Srinagar,Sept 14 (PTK): Senior APHC Leader and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has Said that, “The people of Jammu Kashmir desperately want that sincere steps are taken towards the resolution process and for this all have to contribute.
Utilizing funds for race of arms needs to be stopped. New Delhi and Islamabad must concentrate on well-being of the people living in the south Asian region and join hands to resolve the long pending Kashmir dispute.
Waza said this while addressing a gathering at Jamia Masjid Lisser Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.He urged both India and Pakistan to make history by addressing the Kashmir issue in its right perspective. He said that otherwise history won’t forgive them for any negligence in this regard.
He said that India must understand the fact that people of Kashmir are not demanding for anything which India owns nor they want to snatch anything from it. “Instead our issue is the outcome of broken promises and world bodies stand witness that India is a signatory to the fact that people of Jammu and Kashmir would be given right to decide their political destiny,” he said.
On the occasion,Senior party member Nisar Ahmad rather,Shabir Ahmad and Aijaz Ahmad also accompanied Mukhtar Waza. (PTK)
