Bodies of KAS officer, trekker airlifted from Kolahoi Glacie

SRINAGAR, (PTK): After two days of extensive search in Kolahai glacier of Pahalgam, bodies of two trekkers were retrieved on Sunday that had come under a rock avalanche.

Officials said bodies of KAS officer Naveed Jeelani and Adil Shah were retrieved and airlifted to Srinagar in Air Force Helicopter.

Naveed was a KAS officer and Adil worked with Alpine group – a tour and travel group in Jammu and Kashmir.

The duo was part of a trekking group that had come under a rock avalanche near Kolahai glacier of Pahalgam on Friday. (PTK)
