Srinagar, (PTK) Hunger strike of teachers joint action committee enters 3rd day and the condition of leaders and volunteers of teachers joint action committee is weakening day by day.
At the eve of teachers day thousands of teachers across the valley aasemballed in pratap park today morning and showed their solidarity with the leaders and volunteers of TJAC and also registered their protest against the callous attitude of state govt against the nation builders.
Hunger strike is its continuty at Jammu under the leadership of Ganesh Khajuria and Vinod Sharma.
Thousands of teachers marched towards Governor house Jammu from press club to press for their demands.
The leaders who in solidarity with the volunteers on hunger strike includes. Speaking on the occasion all the leaders showed their serious concern about the pathetic conditions of nation builders.The leaders who are on hunger strike in second phase are Mohd. Akabr khan, Mohd. Speaking on the occasion President EJAC , chairman teachers Joint action committee urged upon the govt to resolve the issues of SSA teachers, head Teachers and RMSA masters at an earliest so that the teachers on strike may have sight of relief..Mr.Wani said that we have two formost demands before the governor adminstration, implementation of 7th pay commission in favour of SSA teachers,head teachers and RMSA masters and linking of their salaries with the state sector.
Mr.Wami said that 7th pay commission is not our demand it’s our legitimate right and we will fight tooth and nail to get this genuine issue redressed.
Mr Wani assured all the SSA,RMSA teachers and masters that the leadership of TJAC is committed for the resolution of their issues he appealed all the teaching fraternity to be united at this crucial Juncture .
Mr.Wani urged upon HIS excellency Governor of the state Mr.Satpal Malik,Hon,ble advisor Mr.Khurshuid Ahamd Ganaie,Hon’ble advisor Mr B.B.Viyas, worthy chief secratary B.R.Subrimayiyum and worthy secratary education Mr.Rigzin Sampheal for their Personal intervention in implementation of 7th pay commission in favour SSA teachers ,head teachers and rmsa masters and linking their salaries with state sector so that the teachers may have sigh of relief.
