Srinagar, (PTK)Police on Tuesday arrested senior hurriyat leader and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza at sangam area of Bijbehra.

According to Party spokesman,waza was arrested by police along with many party activists at Sangam area of bijbehra,when he was on way to Srinagar to participate in a peaceful JRL Protest after zuhr prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar..
Mukhtar Waza has been now lodged at police station Sangam.
Spokesman strongly condemned the arrest of party chairman.(PTK)
