Srinagar,September 03 (PTK): Senior APHC Leader and Jammu and Kashmir People’s League chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that, “Kashmir was neither a regional issue, nor a religious one, adding, it was a political and human issue.
Mukhtar Waza while addressing a condolence gathering at Damhaal khashipora area of dooru in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district,said that the need of the hour is that emotions and aspirations of Kashmiris should be considered and a realistic thinking and approach should be adopted to move forward and initiate a meaningful dialogue between India, Pakistan and Kashmiris to solve the vexed dispute.
He said Kashmir was not against people of India. “We want economic progress in the region. For that to happen, it is imperative to solve the Kashmir issue, a constant source of tension in South Asia,” he added.
