KUPWARA, SEP 02 (PTK): Congress District Kupwara and Member of All India Congress Committee AICC President Haji Farooq Mir, visited Doniwari, Khantpora, Cheerkoot Lolab.
During the visit Mir with his team met recently fire victim Gh Mohd Khan and his family at Doniwari and assured them the possible help.
During the visit, a large number of residents at different areas placed their grievances before the Farooq Mir. Majority grievances consisted of construction of roads, irrigation facilities, transformer and Culverts in the area. Mir assured that their other demands will also be highlighted soon.
During the visit, several prominent political activists joined Congress among which Ghulam Jeelani Tantary along with his along with his eight of workers.
Haji Farooq Mir was accompanied by Gh Mohidin Khan executive member DCC Kupwara, Syed Mohd Ashraf Indrabi Political Secretary to Haji Farooq Mir, Peer Saif Din Baba Halqa President Doniwari, Mohd Ashan Bhat Numberdar and other members. (PTK)
