Srinagar: A gunfight between militants and government forces broke out in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday morning.

Police sources said that a joint search party of army and police was fired upon by the hiding militants soon after the search operation was launched in Parra Mohalla of Hajin.
The fire was retaliated which resulted into the exchange of gunfire, they said. (PTK)
