Appeals people to observe austerity, simplicity
Srinagar,21 August (PTK): Senior APHC Leader and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the whole Ummah particularly the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message, the Mukhtar said: “The Eid-ul-Adha teaches lessons of sacrifice to the people and we pray that may this holiest day bring peace and prosperity to the whole world especially the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
He further appealed People to observe the festival with austerity,simplicity and according to the Islamic principles.He appealed them not to forget the victims of ‘Indian oppression’ and ensure that the poor, orphans, widows and other needy also enjoy the celebrations without feeling any financial constraint.
