SRINAGAR, August 18: Anantnag police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.

Kokernag police during a naka checking at Daksum Road near village Gohan intercepted a suspected person, later identified as Javid Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Majeed Dar resident of Pandobal Kokernag. On search, illicit liquor was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR Number 118/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Kokernag and further investigation is going on.
