Another encounter broke out in Kupwara

SRINAGAR, (PTK): An encounter has broke out between the security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara. The encounter began early this morning and is currently underway. There is no information on the number of militants present in the encounter in Kupwara’s Kralgund. No more details have been provided yet.

The Kupwara encounter has come a few days after one policeman was killed and four people were injured in a gunfight between militants and security forces here, authorities said. Upon receiving a tip-off about the holed-up militants, the security forces cordoned off the Deyarwani locality in Batmaloo area. (PTK)
