Kokernag, (PTK): On the eve of 72th Independence Day, the SDM Kokernag , Rouf Ul Rehman hoisted the national flag and took salute at the parade presented by the contingents of JKP & CRPF.
The SDM Kokernag, in his Independence day speech highlighted the sacrifices of freedom fighters and said the great leaders laid down their lives fighting against British oppression and envisioned India as an independent secular and strong nation.
“Real tribute to these martyrs would be to follow the path shown by them and to contribute our bit towards nation.
The SDM Kokernag also distributed awards and prizes among the officials, employees and various departments including journalists who perform their duties sincerely. He also thank departments who were present there and participate in the programme. (PTK)
