SRINAGAR, AUGUST 15 (PTK): On the eve of 72th independence day DC Ganderbal Dr piyush hoisted the national flag at Madre-Meharban Stadium Qamariya Gbl and took salute at the march past presented by the contingents of J&K Police, PTS manigam, CRPF, others and students of various schools.
Addressing the gathering, He said the occasion provides an opportunity to boost development scenario launched by the Government and to introspect for better tomorrow.He said that his aim is peace and progress of district Ganderbal.
He further added that many major developmental projects under core sectors are at various stages of completion in the district which will change the landscape of the district.
He said maintaining peace brotherhood and strengthening of mutual bounds is must for the development and progress of district.He praised the people of District and the role of political leaders.
After the speech ,the students of different schools of district presented cultural programmes.
During the Occasion, SSP Ganderbal Mr Kalil Ahmad Poswal, CO 5RR COL Mukund Gururaj and other Army officer,Police officers,CRPF Officers, District Officers and a large number of citizens participated in the function. (PTK)
