Baramulla, August 15 (PTK): 72th Independence day was today celebrated with full zeal in District Police Line (DPL) Baramulla.
DC Baramulla Nasir Nakash hoisted the Tricolor Flag and received the Salute.
SSP Baramulla Imtiyaz Hussain accompanied Nakash to take a parade inspection in the initial program.
Various contingents from JKP, CRPF and students from various schools took part in parade and presented Salute.
Various cultural programs were also organised by different schools including DPS Baramulla, ST Joseph’s School, Budding Bloom Khawajabagh which fascinated the audience.
At the conclusion Nakash presented awards and certificates to the winning participants, needful employees and journalists.
Various officers from civil administration, police and locals were also present in the event.
