Kupwara, Aug 14: Flash floods triggered by a cloudburst has flooded the Tangdar Karnah area of frontier Kupwara district in North Kashmir, reports said on Tuesday.
However there was no reports of casualty or loss of human life, our team reached there, we are watching the situation, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Khalid Jahangir said.
According to PTK correspondent MIT, the cloudburst which occurred today flooded various areas of Karnah, about 58 kms from District headquarter Kupwara , reports said, adding houses, shops, High School of Tangdar were flooded resulting in huge damage to property.
Main connectivity of Nechai – Baagbilla Road and zirla were the worst hit by flood. However there was no report of any casualty.
