SRINAGAR, (PTK): Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretry and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on today asked government to come up with a tangible policy to fulfill the demands of SSA teachers.
In a Statement, Majid said that the SSA teachers are being forced to face hardships as they are without salary from last various months. He said that the frequent strike by SSA teachers would affect the education of our students.
He said that the government should formulate a tangible policy to fulfill the demands of SSA teachers. He said that there is no need to use force against them but to negotiate in a credible atmosphere.
Majid said that denying 7th Pay Commission benefits to SSA teachers would be great injustice on the part of Govt. They deserve the Same Facilities and treatment as other employees of the state enjoy, he added.
Majid terming the demands of teaching faculty as genuine as said that their demands must be fulfilled at an earliest so that they could heave a sigh of relief. He lauded the crucial role of the SSA teachers played to increase the literacy rate of the state and urged the government to fulfill their demands. (PTK)
