Peace in South Asia linked to Kashmir settlement: Mukhtar Waza

Srinagar,10 August (PTK): Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that,peace in South Asia was not possible without amicable settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute.

This was Stated by Muktar Waza while addressing a gathering at Larnoo kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.He said, Kashmir is a political and humanitarian issue and it is our consistent stand that this issue can be resolved through a meaningful dialogue among Pakistan, India and the people of Kashmir in line with the relevant UN resolutions.

He while paying rich tributes to Shaheed E Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz said that,he offered unprecedented and unparalleled sacrifice of life for a great cause and his services and contribution for the Kashmir cause would always be remembered.

On the occasion,Party members Nisar Ahmad Rather,Shabir Ahmad Nanwai, Yasin Ahmad and Javaid Ahmad Wani also accompanied Mukhtar Ahmad Waza. (PTK)
