Kupwara,31 July: Unknown persons on Tuesday overpowered a cop and snatched his service rifle in Maidanpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The policeman of 4th IRP bn was overpowered by some persons who snatched his service rifle near Kandhar area of Maidanpora in Lolab, sources said.
Police sources termed it a first kind of incident in the area. They said that a manhunt has been launched to nab the rifle snatchers.
