SRINAGAR, (PTK): Militants and the government forces on Thursday exchanged fire in Magam forest area of Handwara town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to reports that a joint team of army’s 21 RR, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force 92 Bn launched a search operation in Sodal check Magam forest area.

Reports added that reportedly one militant has been killed in the area.
“Search operation is going on in the area. The cordon has been tightened,” he said. (PTK)
