Plebiscite is the solution to Kashmir: Er Rashid

KUPWARA (J&K), JULY 25; Continuing with his outreach and developmental review programme, Governor  N.N Vohra visited North Kashmir’s frontier district Kupwara on wednesday.

“After arrival Governor chaired a meeting of Legislators and representatives of political parties and heard their views and suggestions about the problems in their areas,” .

According to our correspondent Wasim Majnoon Mir, the legislators raised several developmental issues, particularly those relating to Bridges, water supply, power and road connectivity projects. Among those who met the Governor were Fayaz Ahmad Mir, MP; Sajad Gani Lone, Er Rashid, Ab Haq Khan, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Raja Manzoor all MLA’S and Nasir Jamsheed Lone MLC.

Awami Eithaad Party Chief and MLA Langate Er Rashid told reporters here that they raised several development and other issues of there particular constituencies and said he requested to Governor of JK State that the case of a minor Kupwara boy, Umar Farooq should be handed over to Crime Branch (CB). It’s important to mention here that on last week disfigured Body Of Missing 10-Year-Old Boy Found in Kupwara village.

MLA Er Rashid said that the case must be handed over to CB to ensure speedy investigation of the heinous crime. “It has been observed that cases being investigated by the police are taking time. So, we demand it should be handed over to ensure speedy inquiry over the incident to identify the killers and said that the Governor assure that he will think over it,” he said.

Reply to question over the recent statement of Shabaz Sharif (Pakistani Political Leader) over Kashmir that if he wins the Election in Pakistan, will unite kashmir with Pak, Er Rashid said that India claiming Kashmir is integral Part of India and the Pakistan says they have  blood relation with kashmir, he added there is no solution to Kashmir issue other than holding a plebiscite.
