Private schools found guilty of ‘paper leak’ yet face action

SRINAGAR, JULY 24 (PTK): Even as the students are facing the consequence of the deceit and greed of few vested interests, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is yet to take action against the private schools, found guilty of ‘paper leak’, despite identifying them recently.

 

According to top official in vigilance JKBOSE officials had identified couple of private schools who had indulged in ‘Paper leak’ of class 11th, and they have been questioned.

 

Pertinently Prof Veena Pandita, Chairperson of JK BOSE had ordered constitution of an inquiry committee to look into the paper leak case for the investigations.

 

She had also issued directions to all the Heads of the Institutions (Government as well as Private), to bring sealed packets of question papers received in the respective Sub / Branch and Divisional offices of JK BOSE from April 6.

 

Meanwhile when contact Roshan Lal Gupta Joint Secretary Secrecy/Administration JD, Verification and Legal-JD JKBOSE he told Press Trust of Kashmir that the vigilance team is investigating the matter.

 

He further told Press Trust of Kashmir that the seven schools have been called by vigilance for the investigation over the ‘paper leak’ case. He added that on Saturday 23 July vigilance teams visited his office and gathered more information related to the case.

 

Meanwhile he added that, “Once vigilance completes the investigation action will be taken against these schools”.

 

However when contact Prof. Veena Pandita Chairperson/Secretary Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education, she told Press Trust of Kashmir, “We have lodged the FIR and  vigilance have also started the investigation”. She added that It is the duty of vigilance that how much time they take to complete the investigation in the case.  (PTK)
