Srinagar,July 20(PTK)APHC Senior Leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that,Kashmir issue poses a threat to world peace and asked International community to take measures for the resolution of the dispute.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Said this while addressing a gathering after Friday Prayers at Kokernag Devalgam in South Kashmir.
He said the prevailing confrontation and tense situations between India and Pakistan is a war-like. He said Kashmir issue poses a threat to world peace and is proving to be a big obstacle for peace, prosperity and development in the region.
Terming the recent statement of Sartaj Aziz as encouraging, the Mukhtar Waza said, “War and inconsistencies are no options, instead they cause devastation and destruction. Both India and Pakistan are nuclear countries and any flare-up can prove extremely detrimental.”
On the Occasion,Party members Nisar Ahmad Rather,Fayaz Ahmad,Shabir Ah Nanwai and Javaid wani also accompanied Mukhtar Waza(PTK)
