Vigilance Organization registered a formal case against Mohd Yousuf Malik S/O Haji Gulab Din R/O Gujjar Nagar Jammu presently posted as Assistant Commissioner Development Reasi vide FIR No. 19/2018 u/s 5(1)(e) read with section 5(2) J&K P.C Act Svt. 2006 at P/S VOJ on 12/07/2018.
The instant case was registered on the basis of reliable input received in the Vigilance Organization Jammu with respect to the facts that one Mohd Yousuf Malik, whose parent department is Agriculture while on his deputation in RDD Department, he functioned as BDO and was posted at number of places, Secretary JDA and now posted as ACD, Reasi since Dec,2016 has amassed huge assets both movable as well as immoveable by indulging in corrupt and illegal practices taking advantage of his lucrative postings, which are highly disproportionate to his known source of income.
Teams of Vigilance department simultaneously raided various places in Jammu and Reasi after registration of formal case against him, with the help of local police /magistrates at the residences and office of accused person. During the course of searches at residential complexes of the accused person, it has been found that expenditures worth crores have been made on various immovable properties raised by the accused officer. During the process, all relevant record/suspicious documents which have been recovered from various locations are being seized on spot in presence of independent witnesses.
Detailed and in-depth scrutiny of the seized record will be carried out during further course of investigation by sleuths of vigilance organization.
