SRINAGAR, (PTK): An emergency meeting of Employees joint Action committee was held at Central Office Srinagar under the chair of President EJAC Ab Qayoom Wani. In the meeting it was decided to defer the peaceful protest programme of EJAC, due to unavoidable circumstances which was scheduled on 11th July.
In a press statement issued to PTK President EJAC Ab Qayoom Wani said that due to unavoidable circumstances the peaceful protest programme given by EJAC in favour of SSA teachers , Head teachers and RMSA Masters on 11th July is hereby deferred. Next programme of EJAC regarding the same issues will be communicated very soon.

However there will be no change in the peaceful protest programme given by Teachers Joint Action committee (TJAC) on 17th July which will be held as per schedule.
All EJAC leaders, Office bearers, delegates, leaders of Teachers Joint Action committee. and Activists and teaching fraternity are hereby requested to inform their cadres accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. (PTK)
