MLA Ganderbal for quality macadamization of roads, pays surprise visit to check macadamization works.

SRINAGAR, JULY 09 (PTK): In accordance with the promise of ensuring deliverance of quality public welfare services to the population  and the residents of Ganderbal assembly constituency, MLA Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar paid surprise visits to check the status of various ongoing macadamization works in his constituency. He was also accompanied by departmental officials , and prominent citizens.

 

In a statement issued, Ishfaq Jabbar, while inspecting the work of black topping on the main road of Tawheedchowk to Narayanbagh , closely inspected the quality of the material and the way of laying down of the road.

Speaking on the occasion, Ishfaq said that it is indeed a major step towards development in Ganderbal assembly segment and indeed numerous habitations will be covered and will provide a major relief to the residents of Ganderbal assembly segment, the statement added.

While inspecting the macadamization work of Giraj Ganderbal and it’s internal link roads,Sheikh Ishfaq said that no spurious material is being used and roads like highways are being laid in internal areas as well.

MLA also paid surprise visit to the Mishah Shab Multan (RAH) road which is being constructed under PMGSY,  and also interacted with the local political workers and residents of area and prompted them to discuss their various issues.

While addressing the local people gathered during the inspection of the developmental works,  Ishfaq said that works of roads are being constructed in many areas of Ganderbal Constituency and many areas have been covered under the scope and areas which are left will also be covered in coming days, the statement further added.

Locals also appreciated the concern of the MLA and acquainted him with the various day to day problems they are facing.

He prompted the locals to report any type of loophole in the execution of the present work and assured redressal of their genuine grievances. (PTK)
