Srinagar;06 July 2018:(Ptk)A police party of police station Soura headed by SHO Soura Mohammad Shahnawaz Khan under the supervision of SDPO(H) Shri Rameez Rashid Bhat raided a gambling site near Khawajapora Nowshera Soura and apprehended Six Gamblers namely.
1.Farooq Ahmad Bhat S/O Ghulam Mohammad Bhat R/O Nowshera Soura.
2.Riyaz Ahmad Malik S/O Ghulam Mohammad R/O Nowshera Soura.
3.Mohammad Shafi Bhat S/O Noor Mohammad Bhat R/O Nowshera Soura Sgr.
4.Bilal Ahmad Khan S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Lakhripora Nowshera Soura Sgr.
5.Riyaz Ahmad Beigh S/O Abdul Rashid R/O Nowshera Soura.
5.Ajaz Ahmad S/O Ghulam Rasool R/O Sikh Bagh LalbaZar Sgr.
while gambling cards and Stake money of Rs.27450. was recovered from the spot of gambling site.
In this regard case FIR No.77/2018 U/S 13 Gambling Act registered and all the accused persons were arrested and stake money and gambling cards seized.
This is in continuation to the efforts of Srinagar Police against meance of Social Crimes(PTK)
