SRINAGAR, JUNE 29 (PTK): Director Metrological Department Jammu and Kashmir, Sonam Lotus on Friday said that weather in the state will start improving from tomorrow (June 30).
“It has been raining continuously since June 27 in most parts of Jammu & Kashmir regions. As informed earlier, many places of South, East Kashmir and Hilly Areas of Jammu region received heavy rain as a result of which there is significant increase in water levels in Nallahs, Rivers etc. thereby increasing chances of potential flood, landslide on vulnerable areas,” Lotus said in a statement.
“We expect gradual decrease in rainfall from this evening and significant/overall improvement from tomorrow, 30th June,” he said. (PTK)
