Pakistani teenager to conduct coin-toss for FIFA World Cup match

ISLAMABAD: A 15-year-old Pakistani boy will conduct the toss for the match between Brazil and Costa Rica in ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Ahmed Raza from Sialkot will be the first Pakistani to re-present Pakistan on the pitch of a FIFA World Cup Match in an official capacity.

Ahmed is a passionate football lover and a fan of Neymar Jr and the Brazilian football team. The three generations of Raza’s family were involved in stitching footballs for the professional football tournaments including FIFA World Cup.

Kaleemullah, captain of Pakistan’s national football team (men), will also be joining Ahmed on his journey to Moscow, Russia, for the FIFA World Cup.

The match will be held on Friday, June 22nd. The coin toss will take place at 4:45pm (PST) respectively.
