MLA Ganderbal conducts extensive tour of Constituency

 

Visits bereaved family of school teacher Kulsuma Rashid.Released Rupees 20 lacs out of his CDF for developmental works.

Ganderbal 22 June 2018(PTK).In order to cope up with the proper voltage requirements and adequate electricity to the residents of villages Gadoora, Fatehpora Kujar and other adjoining areas MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Friday visited Gadoora village and was informed that the receiving station Gadoora has been upgraded from 3.5 MVA to 6.3 MVA but the receiving station usually remains overloaded as the station needs Rs 20 lacs for infrastructure development.

Addressing the locals at Gadoora Ishfaq said due to the very low voltage the people were facing many problems especially the students were the worst suffers and said that with the augmentation of new transformers the people would definitely get relief and released Rs 15 lacs out of his constituency development fund for the upgradation of power infrastructure of Gadoora receiving station.

MLA Ganderbal a also visited Physical College Gadoora Ganderbal and discussed various issues with the principal of the college Dr Hartaij Sing.

Ishfaq demanded that local youths should be given preference in class IV posts as they have donated their land free of cost.

During the tour, the MLA Ganderbal issued orders of revamping and relocation of irrigation pump station at Gund-e-Rehman Ganderbal and released Rs 5 lacs for relocation of the irrigation pump station out of his constituency development fund.

The irrigation station will provide irrigation facilities to thousands of farmers in Gund-e-Rehman, Harran and Shallabugh areas.

Speaking at the function, Mr Ishfaq said he has intensified it’s efforts to complete all the irrigation projects in the Constituency.He said implementation of scheme’s under agriculture roadmap led to increase in productivity of land and creation of additional irrigation facilities.

The MLA has assured the people that development of the Constituency a s per immediate requirements of the residents of various areas remains priority for him.He further said that upgradation of receiving station and power infrastructure of Gadoora and relocation of Pump station at Gund-e-Rehman will meet long-standing demand of the residents.

MLA Ganderbal also paid visit to the residence of School Teacher Kulsuma Rashid’ of Badampora Ganderbal who drowned in nallah sindh at Gagangeer when she was on a picnic with the school.

Mr Ishfaq stayed with bereaved family and expressed his sympathy and solidarity with them in this critical hour.The MLA spoke to the grief stricken family and assured them that he has raised the issue of fishing out the body from nallah sindh with Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Director Tourism, Sector Commander army and with the officials of police department and they have assured me all possible help.

MLA Ganderbal has demanded that photography at vulnerable places at nallah sind should be banned immediately.

MLA also visited Batwina for condolence.

During the visit , a large number of residents at different areas placed their grievances before the MLA. Majority grievances consisted of construction of roads, irrigation facilities, transformer and Culverts in the area. Ishfaq assured that their other demands will also be met soon.

Among others Executive Engineer PDD transmission Ganderbal, AEE irrigation , JEs and officers from concerned departments were also present on the occasion(PTK).
