Welcomes UN Report On HR Abuses in Kashmir
Srinagar:(PTK). Senior Hurriyat Leader and Jammu and Kashmir People’s Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad waza Today along with Party members Nisar Ah Rather,Fayaz Ah and Shabir Nanwai visited the residence of Shaheed Sheeraz Ahmad of Brakpora Islamabad and expressed solidarity with the martyrs family.
Paying glowing tributes to sheeraz Ahmad,waza said Kashmiri youth are spilling their blood for the cause of freedom and self-determination.
He said that people of Kashmir had given unprecedented sacrifices for Kashmir cause which would not be allowed to go waste.
He said that Kashmiris were peace-loving people and wanted the settlement of Kashmir dispute through peaceful means and in accordance with their aspirations.
He said the permanent peace in the region would remain a dream till the resolution of Kashmir dispute through tripartite dialogue among Pakistan, India and genuine Kashmiri leadership.
Meanwhile Mukhtar waza welcomed the UN report that highlighted the gross human rights violations by Indian troops in the territory.
He said the UN report reflected the ground situation of occupied Kashmir and detailed how the people of the territory were denied all freedoms and justice(PTK).
