SRINAGAR, JUNE 13 (PTK): Scores of woman Wednesday blocked the Srinagar-Jammu highway at Drangbal Pampore and disrupted traffic movement on the highway to protest against PDD.
They were shouting slogans against the officials of PDD and Tehsildar Pampore and demanding repairing of an electric transformer at Drangbal.

The protesting women alleged that local electric transformer was damaged some days back but the PDD staff has failed to replace or repair the same.
The movement of vehicles on the busy highway came to halt for about an hour, witness said.
Later SHO Pampore Mudasir Naseer rushed to the spot and pacified the protesters by assuring them that their problem would be redressed soon. (PTK)
