Army resorts to aerial firing to disperse ‘stone-pelters’ in Shopian village

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Army resorted to aerial firing in D K Pora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday after youth hurled stones on an army Casper vehicle.

Reports said that a group of youths attacked the army Caper vehicle with stones. The army had gone to remove an anti-Indian graffitis in the area. The army troopers in response fired a couple of rounds in the air to chase away the youth.

However, there was no report of any injuries. (PTK)
