SRINAGAR, JUNE 08 (PTK): Despite government orders to conduct private coaching of students only after one hour of closure of schools, some private coaching centre conducting morning classes in Parraypora and forces students to attend morning classes.
After tuition centres has been banned for some time for violating rules and regulations, private coaching centres were allowed by the school education department to resume functioning on certain conditions including that no morning classes would be conducted, but pulse institute of competitive studies and some other tuition centre in Parraypora are not in mood to follow government order.
The directions were issued after the government revoked its order for suspension of tuition/ coaching activities in the private coaching centres.
Sources said that some coaching centres have violated the department guidelines following which the authorities have issued strict warning to the institutions.
Order issued by director school education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo reads: “It has once again come to the notice of directorate that various private coaching/tuition centres are conducting classes early in the morning.”
The schools have been informed through the circular that their action is in conflict with the assurances their representatives gave in the meeting on 28 April with education department.
Complaints are also pouring into the directorate that private coaching centres are charging one time advance fee from students which is gross violation of government directions issued from time to time.
Meanwhile students said that if any government official came to check tuition told them that we want morning classes, however close source of tuition told Press Trust of Kashmir that students totally oppose this.
Meanwhile parents said that the private tuition centre in Parraypora area of Srinagar like pulse institute of competitive studies despite pleas doesn’t bother to either follow DSEK order or realize the concerns of suffering students. (PTK)
