Three PDC daily wagers fainted during hunger strike in Kangan

KANGAN, Nov. 18 (PTK). Three among the dozens of PDC daily wagers on hunger strike working in power house Kangan were referred to trauma hospital Kangan after they turned faint on the sixth day of their hunger strike at Kangan on Thursday.
The daily wagers started hunger strike last week outside power house Kangan after they failed to get their grievance resolved by launching more than a month long protest strike to meet their long pending demand of regulaisation of their services.
“On the first phase we abstain from our work and launched protest strike for more than one month, on second phase we went on hunger strike and now we are going take extreme step on third phase if our demand was not fulfilled. “Mushtaq Ahmad Shah vice president JKSPDC Kangan said
Yasmin Kawoosa superintendent trauma hospital Kangan said that three ill daily wagers of the power house were admitted in the hospital.
“All the three patients are under mental stress and are under observation in hospital ward “.Dr Adil Ahmad a doctor at trauma hospital Kangan said.
The patients were identified as Nazir Ahmad Teedwa of Katchmbal Kangan, Ab Majid Pakhtoon of Poshkar kangan and Nazir Ahmad Mir of Akhal kangan (PTK).
